Helen Peate speaking at Shoreline Toastmasters in Christchurch

Your first visit

We look forward to meeting you
Shoreline Toastmasters club has around 20 members from diverse backgrounds. We welcome people of all ages; at any level of speaking ability. Our aim is to help people gain confidence and develop their skills in public speaking, listening and leadership.

Learn and laugh!
We offer a safe and friendly learning environment. You will be encouraged, get plenty of support and have a lot of fun. It's not all about public speaking. It's also about learning to listen to, analyse and evaluate the efforts of your fellow members in a positive manner.

Visitors are always welcome
Visitors attend free of charge, and are not required to speak unless they wish to do so. Just come along and see how we operate.

Meetings are on Mondays at 7.30pm
We meet at the Mt Pleasant Yacht club on the Main Road to Sumner in Christchurch. Our members come from all over Christchurch but live mainly in Sumner, Redcliffs, Ferrymead, Lyttelton and Heathcote. There is plenty of parking.  Please refer to the map or feel free to use our contact details to speak to a club representative.
